Deleting your data
Last updated: 27 September 2026
SaxBuddy is run by GLCC I.T. CONSULTANCY, Phase 2 Sampaguita St., Lita Subdivision, Brgy. Lita, Tayabas, Quezon 4327, Philippines.
Your songs are already yours
Worth knowing first: the tracks and videos you added to SaxBuddy were never sent to us. They are saved on your own phone. We have no copy, so there is nothing on our side to delete.
To remove them, you do it yourself, and it takes one tap. Open SaxBuddy, find your song list, and press Clear on a song — or Clear all to empty the whole library. They are gone from the phone straight away.
The files the shop sent you stay wherever you downloaded them, in your Files app or your downloads. Clearing your SaxBuddy library does not touch those.
What we can delete for you
We hold four things: your account, the record that you have access, the counts of how you used the app, and a record of any code you bought.
To have all of it deleted, email gkq.andrade@gmail.com from the address you sign in with, with the subject "Delete my SaxBuddy data".
If you cannot email from that address, tell us how you signed in and we will find another way to check it is really you. We will not delete an account on a request we cannot verify, because that would let someone else delete yours.
Then:
- We confirm we have your request, usually within a day or two.
- Your account, your access record and your usage counts are deleted within 30 days, normally sooner.
- The record of a sale is the one exception. Philippine tax law requires us to keep our books for five years, so the amount, how you paid and the date stay until then. We remove the note of who paid, so what is left no longer identifies you.
- We email you when it is done.
What this means for your access
Deleting your account also deletes your access. If you paid for SaxBuddy and later want to come back, you will need a new code — we will not be able to find your old one, because nothing will link it to you any more.
If you only want to stop using SaxBuddy for now, sign out instead. Signing out leaves your songs on your phone and keeps your access, so everything is still there when you sign back in.
Disconnecting Facebook
If you signed in with Facebook and want to disconnect SaxBuddy from it, you can do that in Facebook: Settings & Privacy → Settings → Apps and Websites → SaxBuddy → Remove.
That stops Facebook sharing anything more with us. It does not delete what we already hold — email us for that.
Disconnecting Google
If you signed in with Google and want to disconnect SaxBuddy from it, you can do that in your Google Account: Security → Your connections to third-party apps & services → SaxBuddy → Delete all connections.
That stops Google sharing anything more with us. It does not delete what we already hold — email us for that.
